Intermediate Care

The Intermediate Care Unit is a two bed unit that provides an increased level of care for patients requiring closer monitoring than on our Medical/Surgical Unit.

Services are available 24 hours and include cardiac monitoring, post-surgical care, and low acuity critical care for trauma, medical and surgical patients.

Nursing staff is certified in advanced life support and trained in special procedures required for low acuity critical care. Multidisciplinary care is based on individual patient needs.
